Yes I do have happy hour
We really liked this place. Good service, very good margaritas and good food. There were a few items we found to be a bit out of the ordinary from most Tex Mex restaurants. The refried beans were made from black beans, and the rice was just standard white rice. I had the hard shell tacos and I liked how they came with the toppings on the side so I could make my tacos exactly like I like them. My wife had the shrimp tacos and they were outstanding. The side items were a bit underwhelming but overall we liked Hacienda's and will return.
Not a memorable place. The food was very bland, I could have prepared a better meal at home. Chips and salsa were good, but the main courses needed more seasoning. For the price it was disappointing.
Clearly something has changed here. I did learn today that there is a new cook; clearly she/he is not up to speed yet. And when I used a gift certificate to pay for the meal and presented a coupon I was told I couldn't use the coupon (value $10.00) with the gift certificate. When I asked why not I was told his manager had given those specific instructions. I think that is absurd. My family and I have doned here for years without this issue. VERY disappointing.
This isnt your traditional Mexican food place, but they actually do a great job putting unique spins on traditional dishes and it still tastes great.
I placed a to go order over the phone today without looking at a menu, as I was driving. (one steak chimichanga and a pint of beans) When I got there, I was presented with a $32.00 bill and told the chimichangas were $17.00 and typically chicken, so there's an upcharge for steak. I guess the pint of beans was $10.00. When I got home, to my horror, I saw my $20.00 chimichanga; 6 inches long and one inch thick. Highway effing robbery.
I like this place. Over the last few months, the quality of food has really improved. Not sure if it's a new chef, new ownership, or both. Service is always very good!
Good food, friendly service and a large seating area so there is a good chance for no wait even if you are walking in with a larger group.
Good food and service although actsd pricey.
Visited twice since we moved. Good margaritas, check. Excellent chips and salsa, check. Awesome street tacos, check. Hands down the best Mexican food in the North Scottsdale/Cave Creek area. Heck, I'd go so far as the greater Phoenix area as far as sit down restaurants go. And they're rarely so busy you can't find a seat! (yet!)
Quality seems to have been sliding down lately... but still better than 95% of the Mexican joints around. Stay away from the fajitas though... not what you would expect, it has some fruity marinade. Everything else is great.
Good drinks and good service but a bit overpriced. Food was good and we we'll be back. Good chips and salsa.
We had a large order for my family. They were efficient and timely for our pick up. (We are in the throes of COVID). I am always leery about getting take-out food (fearful it will be cold and clotty). The food was delicious. I highly recommend and am excited to return.
Love the Decour, and the super spicy margaritas we even asked for extra Serano pepper’s. We ordered some pork nachos that were absolutely delicious, and they also brought us two kinds of salsa with flour tortilla chips and corn chips. We love the Decour, we love the drinks, the salsa and chips were fantastic and our pork nachos were delicious. The only problem that we had was the smell that came from the bathroom, it was not appetizing. We ended up moving away from the bathroom and everything seem to be much better. I definitely would go back to have another margarita and definitely try some more of the food.
Food was good. Atmosphere was quiet. Most people don't eat out anymore. Hired help wore masks and I appreciate that.
Excellent Margaritas, friendly staff and good food
Delicious food. Be warned - large portions! Staff were wearing masks and good social distancing in place.
Chicken tamales tasted homemade! The waiter (Angel ) kept busy but always had a smile! Margaritas! ! Yes! We each had a different kind and both were "tastey" to say the least! Now, back to the food! The chips were unique. Not the normal corn chips. You have to go there in person to see what I mean. The salsa had to be homemade! You don't find that at Smart and Final restaurant supply! My friends have been raving about this place for the longest time. Now I know why! The parking is so easy too. Because of the location, there are plenty of spaces.
Love this place, great atmosphere and menu. Not your run of the mill Mexican fare.
Hacienda's Mexican Grill had some of the best Carnitas I've ever had. Amazing nachos
The food is delicious, the portion sizes are good and the prices are fair! Very friendly staff and good service. Almost everything is made with homemade fresh ingredients and great presentation! Plenty of inside and outside patio seating available. Definitely check this out if you're in the area or just looking to take a drive and have some good food and fun.
Excellent food and service! Our server Favio was awesome. The carnitas Chile relleno was delicious. Great salsa.
Was on vacation in Arizona and stopped to eat in this restaurant. Big with lots of room for big gatherings, and a nice outdoor patio. Good food and great attentive staff. We had nachos, shrimp tacos and beef empanadas and their spinach queso was great.
This place is worth a visit. They have big portions for fair prices. Always well organized and with great ambience. Highly recommended.
So I've gotta say....I ordered Hacienda's for the first time through door dash. I was watching my mom's dogs and was craving some good Mexican food. I went on yelp and they had good reviews so I figured I would try it. The food arrived super fast but when I got upstairs and checked the order I was so disappointed to find that they missed an entire plate. I called the restaurant and they were very apologetic and accommodating. I decided to drive over to the restaurant and pick it up. When I got there they had it ready and waiting and even gave me a free dessert. It was very nice of them! Once I got home, we finally ate! The food was amazing! The taste was spot on and quality was superb. I was very pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back!
Their refried beans tasted and smelled like bad fish. The other food was good.
We love Hacienda's margaritas & sitting out on theit extensive outdoor patio. You can even bring your dog. Family-owned restaurant where the staff always is very attentive & wants to please. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars as I don't always love what I order. Try Aunt Irene's chicken enchiladas. The flan is good, skip the "fried" ice cream that isn't fried at all.
How many great reviews are needed to fill this place up? It is just terrific. Great food!
We used to really like this place but it’s gone downhill. The food is pretty mediocre but it used to be quite good. The decor is getting rundown and when we were there most recently the tables on the patio were actually dirty with dust and grime. The upholstery on the outside seating is disgusting- it’s from the 90’s and looks really unclean. The servers we had were really sweet girls but they knew absolutely nothing about the menu. They didn’t even know what kind of soda was served. Lastly, my husband and I both did not feel very well in the night after eating here. We both agreed it was likely the food and we did not eat all the next day. We live across the street from The Summit (Terravita) and this used to be a major hangout for the residents but gradually everyone has stopped going - even with the free drink coupons they text to customers. We are done with this place and will find a new spot for Mexican food.
